Google Yourself
This article from Time says that Google wants you to Google yourself.

The idea behind it is that you can better your search results by creating a Google profile which has basic information and pictures that you can make public. I made my own profile at http://www.google.com/profiles/david.storms54 that you can check out.
I decided to do a bit of ego surfing to see what I found:
- Searching on “david storms”
My site doesn’t come up on the first page. Strangely though the 8th link is to my username on Twitter’s API?
On page 2 I found site that I made a comment on a site regarding Lost: http://www.gilka.co.uk/2009/04/18/the-day-i-stopped-watching-lost-losts05e13/
The last results was the mobile Twitter version of my Twitter page.
Then top link on 3rd page! I need to work onthis
- Searching on “david r storms”
2nd link on first page, that is good, I seem to have established a bit of brand. Beat only by David R. Storm book in the Amazon Winery Utilities section.
- Searching on “lost reviews”
I thought what were the chances, but since a lot fo pages on this site are Lost recaps for the last 2 seasons, I thought maybe. Not a chance! However if I did “david storms lost reviews” I was the first link, that I am happy about.
